WHAT’S ON NB
Cookies & Advertising

Current status
Google AdSense and other advertising are disabled. No AdSense publisher ID or ad-serving script is configured. No Google Analytics, additional analytics service, marketing pixel, external map, social widget or video embed is loaded by this site.
Necessary storage
Reviewer sign-in uses Netlify Identity authentication cookies named nf_jwt and nf_refresh. The identity library sets them for the signed-in session; these are not advertising cookies. Ordinary calendar browsing does not require reviewer authentication.
If you choose Save necessary only in Privacy choices, the browser stores whatsonnb-privacy-v1 in localStorage with a 180-day expiry. It records that optional services remain disabled. It stays in your browser and is not sent to the operator. Deleting this preference does not enable optional services.
Future advertising and consent
If Google AdSense is introduced, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or other storage and process data for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and, where consent allows, personalization. This is a description of a possible future service, not a statement that it is operating now.
Before ads are enabled, the operator must provide the publisher ID, configure and test an appropriate certified consent management platform, publish the actual advertising-vendor disclosures, and provide ways to accept, reject and withdraw optional consent. For EEA, UK and Swiss visitors, Google’s certified CMP and applicable consent requirements must be met. Declining advertising must not prevent access to the calendar.
The current Privacy choices control records necessary-only preferences; it is not a Google-certified CMP and cannot authorize future ads. The site also queues denied defaults for advertising and analytics consent and blocks third-party ad scripts and frames through its current content security policy.
Managing your choices
Use Privacy choices in any footer to view the current status. You can also clear localStorage and cookies through your browser settings. Blocking authentication cookies can prevent reviewer sign-in. Independent websites opened from source links may use their own cookies.
